The Ministry of Health held a presentation of an app, which allows users to find out if they had been in contact with a person infected with COVID 19.
As Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze explained, this application fully protects personal information.
"This is a very important application that has been used successfully in both South Korea and Japan, and the example of these countries is truly unprecedented. From today, our citizens will have the opportunity to fight against coronavirus and take preventive measures together with the Georgian authorities”, Tikaradze said.
Any citizen can download the application STOP COVID.
