Persons over the age of 55 can be involved in the vaccination process, the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze stated. According to her, the relevant decision was made by the Immunization Council.
Health Minister noted, that vaccination was available for healthcare workers and persons over the age of 65, but high demand was observed over the age of 55, so that age group would be included in the vaccination group.
In addition to age groups, Covid-19 vaccine will also be available to patients with dialysis and individuals with transplanted organs.
These categories will be able to be included in the vaccination process from April 5.
