Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze declares that the auction announced on the tennis court area, located near hippodrome is finished and the winner is revealed.
According to Kakha Kaladze, the investor company is LLC Court, which will make investment of GEL 5 million on the site. As of the public registry, LLC Court is registered on November 17, 2021, which 100%-shareholder is Davit Kopadze.
LLC Court is obliged to arrange at least 3 tennis courts and sport infrastructure on the ground within 2 years after signing the contract. The so-called tennis court area was taken back by the Tbilisi City Hall from a private owner in February 2020. Construction company Simetria was offered a replacement and alternative real estate was delivered in Saburtalo and Chugureti districts.
As for the alienation, the City Hall had to announce the auction twice.
