According to Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), currently, 191 subscribers are involved in the electricity "net accounting" system.

According to GNERC, 81 are subscribers of "Telasi" , while 110 - subscribers of "Energo Pro Georgia".

However, GNERC launched the "Net Accounting" system in Georgia in 2016.

"Net Accounting" system allows consumers to save on electricity bills and consume the electricity generated by their own micro power plant free of charge. It means, if a customer generates electricity at home, for example through solar panels, and uses less than he generates, he can sell it and put it on a common grid.

The "Net Accounting" system developed by the GNERC can be used by one private individual, as well as a group of customers (several people together, neighbors, partnerships, etc.).

It should be noted that only 6 subscribers joined the "Net Accounting" system in 2016, while their number increased to 22 in 2017, 38 in 2018, 90 - in 2019 and 35 in 2020. As a result, today their number is 191.

As for their installed capacity, the figure has made up 2932.44 kWh this year.
