According to Stopcov, the total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 889,286.
Out of 2,922 new cases of infection detected in the country today:
1,380 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara - 162, Imereti - 481, Kvemo Kartli - 178, Shida Kartli - 171, Guria - 81, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 185, Kakheti - 149, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 60, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 51 , Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 24.
As for the positivity rate, as of December 11, the daily rate of positivity is 8.15%, for the last 14 days - 7.88% and for 7 days - 7.42%.
In addition, 4,999 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, while the total number of recoveries increased to 832,675.
Also, 36 new cases of coronavirus deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 12,731 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
