The highest monthly earnings were observed in the following fields:
• Financial and insurance activities – 2 596.4 Gel (annual growth 37.1 percent)
• Information and communication – 1 887.9 Gel (annual growth 7.8 percent)
• Professional, scientific and technical activities – 1 794.8 Gel (annual growth -0.2 percent)
• Construction – 1 703.0 Gel (annual growth 9.5 percent)
In the I quarter of 2020 the average monthly earnings of hired employees in business sector increased by 75.2 Gel and equaled to 1 227.0 Gel.
According to the economic activity the highest monthly earnings were observed in the Professional, scientific and technical activities (2 046.4 Gel, annual growth -0.5 percent) and Information and communication (1 922.0 Gel, annual growth 8.2 percent).
In the I quarter of 2020 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the average monthly earnings of hired employees in non-business and financial sector increased by 168.1 Gel and amounted to 1 161.2 Gel.
