28 placed in quarantine after violating self-isolation rules


The police have placed 28 individuals under quarantine throughout the country for violating self-isolation rules to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, reports the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The violations were discovered through joint monitoring of Georgia’s National Disease Control Centre and the patrol police.

In total 99 individuals have been placed under quarantine as of March 18 for violating self-isolation rules, said the MIA.
