3,436 New Cases – Covid Statistics

According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 32,011 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 19,618 tests with antigen tests and 12,393 PCR tests.
 
The tests revealed 3,436 new confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 692,240.

As for the positive rate, as of October 23, the daily rate of positive is 10.73%, for the last 14 days - 9.06% and for 7 days - 9.13%.

In the last 24 hours, 4,483 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered increased to 630,961.
 
In the last 24 hours, 43 new cases of coronavirus death have been reported. A total of 9,742 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
 
Out of 3,436 new cases of infection detected in the country today:

1,208 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara - 87, Imereti - 729, Kvemo Kartli - 221, Shida Kartli - 195, Guria - 98, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 235, Kakheti - 539, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 48, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 68 , Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 8.

At present, there are 51,511 active cases of infection, of which:
 
6,041 people are treated in hospitals, including 2,256 in Tbilisi, 496 in Adjara and 1,288 in Imereti.
 
At this stage, 1,490 people are seriously ill, including 545 in Tbilisi, 132 in Adjara, 463 in Imereti. There are 309 people on artificial respiration, 171 of them in Tbilisi, 34 in Adjara and 28 in Imereti.
 
957 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 529 in Tbilisi and 218 in Adjara.

44,513 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in a residential apartment.
 
51 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 48 in Tbilisi and 3 in Adjara.
 
A total of 25,263 people have been transferred from the state border to quarantine areas from October 6, 2020 to October 23 of the current year.

There are 38,487 people in self-isolation at this stage.
