418 Restaurants Are Engaged in The Loan Subsidy Program

According to the Agency Enterprise Georgia, 418 restaurants are involved in the subsidy of loan interest. A total of 2049 restaurants applied for the subsidy, but only 418 business operators received approval.

Enterprise Georgia notes that applications of 299 restaurants are being considered and the agency will have daily updates.

The government has developed a new aid program for the restaurants, following the protest by the sector in early December 2020. The new program provides subsidy of loan interest for 6 months. Registration was available from December 4 to December 14.
