4.5 million GEL has been spent on renovation of Abastumani observatory, located in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. The observatory will receive visitors starting in the spring of this year.
The observatory will have a visitors’ centre, a café, an exhibition space and a renewed library when it will open to the public.
The observatory receives nearly 10,000 visitors annually.
