The hotel management company Inn Group continues to expand its chain and plans to open a 5-star hotel Gori Inn in Gori in the second half of the summer.
Speaking to BM.GE, the CEO of the company Erekle Kokaia says that the amount of investment required for the new project exceeds GEL 20 million although the exact number is still unknown.
"A 120-room five-star hotel will have two restaurants, a conference hall, a cellar, a tasting area, saunas, a Jacuzzi and an indoor pool. In addition, a planted yard will be arranged on 1 ha of the hotel. The hotel will employ a total of 100 people",- Erekle Kokaia told BM.GE.
The CEO of Inn Group explains why the company has decided to build a five-star hotel in Gori and notes that Gori needs more promotion in terms of tourism, so Inn Group has decided to make its contribution.
"Gori can not use its tourism potential. There are many interesting locations in the city and many interesting tours can be arranged. Uplistsikhe near Gori is one of the most active tourist destinations, while Gori Museum is one of the most visited museums in Georgia. That's why this city needs more popularization. I think the potential is really great", Kokaia explained.
