Mikheil Khidureli, director of "Enterprise Georgia" declares, that a total of GEL 1 billion mortgage loans were issued within the framework of the state mortgage subsidy program.

According to him, in total, 10,000 apartments were sold within the program.

"At the time, this program had a very good effect... when we saw a price drop on the real estate, the agency offered this program, which assisted price increase. On the other hand, the program also had a social impact - it was a promoter of demography," said the director of the agency.

Mikheil Khidureli declares, that the Georgian government will make a decision if the "mortgage subsidy" program is continued in 2023.
