Today Ministry of Economy announced a new wave of privatization of state property. The Ministry of Economy plans to generate GEL 150 million by selling 117 objects.
Ketevan Kiknadze, Head of Strategic Development Department at National Agency of State Property, said that privatization plan of 70,000,000 GEL had been fulfilled excessively and might grow to 100 million GEL by the end of the year.
“In 2019, the privatization plan was 70,000,000 GEL. I would like to tell you that as of today we have mobilized more than 88,847,000 GEL. By the end of the year, we know that we will complete sales of over 100,000,000 GEL.
More than 64,000,000 GEL is a contribution from the regions, and the employment rate is 1,800.
The result of our e-auctions is very important, as of today we have announced more than 1,600 auctions, the figure exceeds by 20% comparing to total rate of the previous year”, said a representative of the National Agency of State Property.
