Agari Sugar refinery will be put under the operating within 2 months, - Natia Turnava, minister of Economy and Sustainable Development has declared about that.
According to her, this refinery might supply 50% of Georgian market.
"We have the opportunity, with our own resources and only by renewing this one plant to supply 50% of our market with sugar. We will work with investors, company leadership and start working on it, so that the plant can be launched within two months. Simultaneously, it means employing more than 500 people in the coming days, my colleague Levan Davitashvili and me will arrive and outline the plans", - said Turnava.
