As the prime minister's advisor Irakli Chikovani noted, work to ensure safety of agrarian markets is carried out in cooperation with the National Food Agency and the administrations of agrarian markets.
"We are working with the National Food Agency and administrators of agrarian markets to ensure that all safety measures are in place in order to eliminate all possibilities of the spread of COVID-19. Virtually all agrarian markets will be closed, though yesterday a special protocol was approved by the head of the National Food Agency, which is mandatory for all the facilities that wish to continue to operate and offer consumers their services on a wholesale basis," Irakli Chikovani stated.
