The head of the National Center for Disease Control addressed politicians today, after the Coordinating Council, and called for adherence to the recommendations during the election campaign.
He said that political processes should be conducted so that people's primary rights are not endangered.
"I understand that a political process is underway in the country. A very important election has taken place and there will be a second round. I want to ask and urge everyone who is now involved in the political process - the right to life and health is paramount, so let us all take this into account.
Today the percentage correlation of deaths to those infected is not high, although each death is a tragedy for families. This rate is rising in the country and will increase as the number of infections increases. Each added infection is a risk of complication, especially in old age and especially in people with chronic diseases. Large gatherings are the most potentially large risk of spreading the infection. I emphasize - I call on everyone involved in the political process - to follow the recommendations given by the state today," - said the head of the National Center for Disease Control.
