Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control declares serious restrictive measures are being considered, some of which have already been imposed.
As Amiran Gamkrelidze told journalists after the meeting of the Coordination Council, the necessary restrictions for the prevention of the virus were discussed at today's meeting.
"As you know, there are certain restrictions in the country and these restrictions will be tightened even more. This was discussed at the meeting of the Coordination Council today. Additional consultations will be held in the evening and also tomorrow. A number of restrictions will be tightened in the country”, he said.
According to him, no complete lockdown is being considered, although serious restrictive measures may be imposed.
