Sinopharm COVID-jab rollout started in Georgia today.
One of the first person, who took the Chinese vaccine was Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control. Gamkrelidze feels well after taking the COVID-jab.
Georgia shipped 100 thousand doses of Sinopharm vaccine. It worth noting that the vaccine does not yet have WHO’s authorization.
"By the end of the week, the World Health Organization will publish the results. It may take some time for the group to make that decision, which in our case will not hinder the vaccination process”, - Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia announced on April 29.
