Anaklia Port must exist in order to build the road there, - Irakli Karseladze, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure declared while commenting the issue.
The deputy minister said that the matter concerns to the topic to build a road and spend hundreds of millions of GEL, while construction of the Port is not yet begun.
"Construction of road and railroad was the obligation that the state had to build for this port. However, highway without road already exist. We have implemented very important projects on the existing road in 2018-2019 and the population of Anaklia has no problem moving at all. Rehabilitation of another section is also planned this year as well. There should be Port in order to build a road. Anaklia and Ganmukhuri population already have a road”, said Karseladze.
