Angel Investors Club will be established in Georgia. The relevant plan has several business people working in Georgia who have gained a lot of experience in the private sector over the years. They are Gia Bazghadze, Gela Suli, and Esben Emborg. The so-called Angel investors are people who finance startups at an early stage - the risk is high, but if the startup is successful and becomes a successful business, the return is appropriate.

The co-founders of the club spoke exclusively with the program "Forbes Week". According to one of the co-founders, Gia Bazgadze, one of the main problems for startups in Georgia is access to finance, and today, in Georgia, their facilitator is mainly the state.

"We want to unite businessmen who will be like-minded, share one philosophy. They will be ready to finance new ventures, share their knowledge and experience with startup businessmen, and of course, they will also make a profit," - said Gia Bazgadze.

The Angel Investors Club is expected to be formed by the end of the year. It is unknown at this time who will be members of the club and under what rules the club will function.

According to Gela Suli, one of the founders of the club, their goal is, on the one hand, to show experienced business people that it is possible and profitable to work with Georgian startups, and on the other hand, to enable startups to obtain funding in their homeland.

"After all, my advice to startups would be to think big. To adapt their ideas not only to Georgia but also to the market of the region," said Gela Suli.
The club's co-founders and other representatives of the business gathered this week to discuss the formation of the Angel Investors Club. Successful examples from different countries were heard remotely at the event.

The founders of the club are also involved in various businesses at this stage. For example, Gia Bazghadze is the chairman of the supervisory board of the Cavea cinema network. Over the years, he has also worked for the international auditing firm E&Y; Esben Emborg has been living in Georgia for many years and currently owns a business consulting company. Gela Soul has been working in the US for many years and has been running a successful business.
