According to the medical director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, Marina Ezugbaia, out of 57 new cases of coronavirus detected in Georgia 25 are related to Adjara.
Out of new coronavirus cases, five are linked to the confectionery shop “Dona”, 14 are linked to Batumi, four had travel history in virus-hit Adjara, 18 are contacts of the infected patient, three are imported, five are members of medical staff and source of infection into 8 cases is unknown, – said Marina Ezugbaia.
Georgia has reported 57 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 830, according to stopcov.ge.
