Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has said an electoral and political process will kick-off after legislative amendments related to the electoral system enters into force.
“The government’s commitment and responsibility is to hold, as always, transparent, fair and democratic elections, elections that will be another sign of Georgia’s further democratization,” the Prime Minister of Georgia stated at today’s meeting at Government Administration.
As the head of government pointed out, elections in the wake of a pandemic pose a global challenge that will give the country opportunity to gain successful experience.
