Armenia's 12-month inflation up 8.8% in November 2022 from year earlier

Armenia's 12-month consumer price index (CPI) in November 2022 was up 8.8% when compared to CPI in November 2021, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) reported today.

According to the NSC, prices in 2022 November were up 1.1% from the previous month of October.

Prices rose 8.7% in the first 10 months of 2022 as opposed to the same time span of 2021.

Armenian government's initial growth projection for 2022 is 7%. The inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%).

According to official data, Armenia’s GDP in the third quarter of 2022 registered a growth of 14.8% against the same period in 2021, while the economic activity in the first 10 months of this year rose by 14.5% against January-October 2021.

In September, the Central Bank of Armenia said it expected the economy to grow 12.9% this year and the yearend inflation to be about 10%, ARKA reports.
