Alexander Dzneladze, president of the Association of Banks of Georgia, does not expect radical changes in the liberalization of banking regulations.

Dzneladze responded to a question from BM.GE regarding the announced changes to the regulations and ongoing consultations.

"The approach will be revenue-oriented, this is already confirmed information, but some models of valuation can be simplified," Dzneladze said.

According to him, at this stage the financial sector cannot speak about any specific decision, since there are only offers.

“The changes mainly concern to the problems that have been with banks, but there are more procedural and technical changes. For example, the range can be changed and instead of 5 wage criterias can be reduced to 2. However, we have no final information. The approach will be revenue-oriented, this is already proven information. The evaluation models may be simplified in some parts”, Dzneladze said.
