Lasha Papashvili, the Redix Group founder, declares that Georgia must use the available resources under the Free Trade Agreements.

According to him, big companies must enter the country, which will make large investments.

The businessman assessed the effect of the free trade agreement signed with China 3 years ago. It should be noted that despite the pandemic, China became the primary export market of Georgia in 2020, and exports from Georgia to China increased by 113% to $ 476 million.

Lasha Papashvili says free trade agreements give Georgia an "immeasurable opportunity."

"We need big companies and large investments to use the opportunities. For example, we can convince Eastern European companies to invest in Georgia and make exports from here because they do not have a free trade regime with China. We must create attractive conditions for those investors to open companies and manufacture products in Georgia. This means employment of Georgian citizens, payment of taxes in the budget, etc., "Lasha Papashvili said.
