The management of Aversi Pharmacy Network holds negotiations with world-class companies on the distribution of COVID-vaccine.
Eka Burdzenidze, the director of Aversi Pharmacy Network told "Business Morning", that "Aversi" does not have the opportunity to introduce the vaccine yet, but they hope to distribute it in the future.
“The company’s management looks with hope launch of the vaccination process. We want to distribute the vaccine for those part of the population who wants to be vaccinated. We are actively negotiating with world-class companies to bring the vaccine," - Burdzenidze noted.
According to her, 2020 was not easy for the company to overcome, as the pharmacy sector was at the forefront of the fight against pandemics, but the sector still managed to handle the problems.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has become a challenge for all companies, including Aversi, but our company's 26 years of experience helped us to overcome the difficulties. The biggest problem was that our employees became infected, which forced us to rearrange our plans.
Our supplies (face-masks, disinfectant means) could not meet the needs of the population, so we started to create large supplies from the manufacturers and we do not have a shortage since May," - director of the "Aversi" pharmacy network explained.
According to Eka Burdzenidze, the company will try to maintain the existing prices as much as possible this year.
"In 2020, we managed to maintain the existing prices based on negotiations with suppliers, and we hope that this year we still will be able to keep the prices as a result of additional negotiations," - said Burdzenidze.
