In first quarter of this year, electricity production in Azerbaijan increased by 7,7% in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year and was 7756.2 mln kWh and exports increased to 1238.9 million kWh and imports to 31.3 million kWh., APA-Economics reports.
Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov made a post on his Twitter account in this regard.
In January-March, electricity production from TPPs amounted to 7387.4 million kWh, and from renewable sources, including hydropower to 368.8 million kWh, according to the information.
