In January-April 2023, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 24.3 billion manats ($14.29 billion), down 2.4% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, production in the oil sector fell by 3.3%, and in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 6.1%.
Some 71.1% of industrial products were formed in the mining sector, 23.6% in the processing sector, 4.6% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.7% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.
Marketable oil production in the mining sector dropped by 8%, while marketable gas production rose by 1.9%.
The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam sector grew by 5.9%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 19.9%.
