"I do not remember even a single case, when the airline asked us to increase flight frequency and we restricted”, Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development responded BM.GE.

"As for pre-communication with the air companies, we have outlined all the destinations in the decision since we received applications from the companies. We can talk about specific frequencies in the future, but I do not remember even a single case, when the airline asked us to increase flight frequency and we restricted. Mobility is also declined in Europe and there is no longer too much pressure from companies to give too many frequencies.

We know that "wizzair" is actively planning to use additional flights from Kutaisi - it will be Vilnius, Katowice, etc.
As for Ryanair, based on their request, we permitted a new flight from Tbilisi to Milan, this is a new destination.

According to the latest news, they want to reduce flight frequency by 70%. However, we will be happy if they fully master the plan. So, they have green light from us", Natia Turnava said.

According to Turnava, citizens of Georgia will be able to submit PCR tests from tomorrow and will have no longer mandatory quarantine, but in the case of need the state will provide a hotel.
