Belarus is determined to increase its export up to $46 billion in 2022, Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov said.

“One of our tasks for next year is to boost export. Export revenues are to reach $46 billion, with a surplus of more than $2 billion. This is a crucial task for us. We should seize the moment to increase export. Markets are growing, and our objective is to sell as many products as possible,” Aleksandr Chervyakov said, BelTa reports.

Another task is to step up investment in the economy. Investment in fixed assets is to go up by 3.3%. “The priorities were set by the socio-economic development program. We will give preference to the projects dealing with import substitution, processing of local raw materials, and efforts to enhance competitiveness of enterprises (technical upgrade to reduce material consumption and expand the assortment range),” the minister said.
