“We had a lot of remarks linked to the project documentation for the access to Anaklia Port and the Railway. These remarks have been processed and we are waiting for submission of the completed project, ” said Maia Tskitishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
"We think to announce construction tender in the future. Of course, all these are directly related to the progress of Anaklia Port construction. You, all will agree, that there is no point in having a road, when you do not have functional port, "- said Maia Tskitishvili.
According to him, both the road and the railway, as well as the functioning of the port, should be discussed jointly.
Concerning to the fulfillment of obligations by Anaklia Consortium, the Vice Prime Minister said that the deadline will be fulfilled based on the available information.
"Accordingly, on December 31, we will have the opportunity to discuss further decisions based on factual information," said Maia Tskitishvili.
