Citizens over the age of 18 will be able to register for the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine from today, - the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze said.
According to her, registration will be available on the vaccination platform from 8 a.m.
“It was decided that a portal for citizens over the age of 18 will open at 8 a.m. where they would be able to register for vaccination. This is based on a number of studies that say that Sinopharm is safe for citizens aged 18 to 60 years”, Tikaradze said.
According to her, an additional meeting will be held on April 29 at the World Health Organization, where a decision will be made regarding Sinopharm.
“We have a lot of evidence-based information where Sinopharm is safe and millions of citizens have used it", - Tikaradze said.
