Tbilisi City Hall did not consider redemption of former building of “Lagidze Waters” as appropriate. Vice Mayor Irakli Khmaladze told BM.GE.
According to Khmaladze, redemption cost amounts to 5 million USD, respectively Tbilisi City Hall has considered other versions for returning the old appearance to the mentioned object.
He noted that the City Hall offered a lease, but negotiations failed to this direction.
“We held negotiations with all parties, but redemption cost of the object is 5 million USD and we did not consider that as appropriate. We worked on the scenario of leasing, but it failed, as the building is already occupied with a long-term lease by another company. We want to restore Lagidze Water, but it does not mean that we expel anyone”, Khamaldze declared.
