Communications Commission has reduced the fee for MagtiFix service license from 16 million to 161 thousand GEL. The new license №F10 is valid until 2029.
Based on the request of MagtiCom, the Communications Commission ordered Ernst & Young to calculate the cost of using the radio frequency resource.
Under the new tariff, the license fee was reduced 100 times. It should be noted that MagtiCom has already paid a large part of the calculated fee for using the license and only 15 thousand GEL should be paid to the budget in order to use the license until 2029, - the Commissions Commission reports.
"Magtifix" service is especially important for the population living in the occupied territories, border villages and mountainous regions of Georgia, as there is a problem of receiving other alternative communication channels. Therefore, in accordance with the decision of the Commissions Commission, additional obligations were set to MagtiCom. In particular, MagtiCom is obliged to continue the service of MagtiFix until the expiration of the license or the complete migration of the subscribers.
