The Government of Georgia brought the so-called “Rikis Dokebi” on the auction afresh. The initial price of the complex is 71.2 million GEL. The cost is 23.75 million GEL down comparing to the cost of the previous auction. The auction term expires on March 5.
According to the terms and conditions, the investor must pay the total cost within 2 months and arrange multifunctional complex on the site in 36 months.
The investment commitment for the project is 10 million GEL.
“In order to ensure the fulfillment of the privatization conditions specified in sub-paragraphs (a-g) (including the penalty for non-fulfillment of the obligation under the relevant agreement), the buyer is obliged to submit to the National Bank of Georgia "An unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee in the amount of 10% of the investment amount specified in sub-paragraph "g", which term must be 4 (four) months longer than the term of fulfillment of the investment obligation specified in sub-paragraph "b" ”, the document reads.
The previous auction was held a year ago and it failed.
