Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze declares, coronavirus mostly spreads at weddings and funerals. As Tikaradze notes, exactly these events should be limited, or the number of people who attend the events.
"The Ministry of Health and the National Center for Disease Control have submitted to the Interagency Council all the recommendations that, in our opinion, should be implemented. Of course, the first and foremost recommendation is to become facemask wearing obligatorily, both outdoors and indoors.
It is also important to pay more attention to social events, including weddings and funerals. Whereas, observations reveal that coronavirus mostly spreads at weddings and funerals. As well, the number of people, who attend the events must be limited,” said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
According to the Minister, further restrictions will be discussed at the meeting of the Interagency Council, which will be held on August 10.
