As part of the intensive testing, 37 842 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 23 931 antigen tests and 13 911 PCR tests, current data show from Stopcov.ge.
As a result of the testing, 695 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases identified since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 352,649.
As of June 10, the daily positive rate is 1.84%, for the last 14 days - 2.67%, and for 7 days - 2.44%. In the last 24 hours, 797 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 337,820. 16 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 5,012 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 695 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 389 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 47, Imereti - 55, Kvemo Kartli - 64, Shida Kartli - 26, Guria - 7, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 46, Kakheti - 32, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 9, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 18, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 2.
