According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, the curfew remains in force and it will be revised due to the epidemic.

"At this stage, a curfew from 21:00 to 05:00 remains in force. The council is constantly monitoring the existing trends and as soon as the epidemiological situation allows, the possibility of easing the existing regulations will be considered, ”said Giorgi Ghibradze.

Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia says the issue of lifting the curfew may be reconsidered by the end of May.

bm.ge asked the Deputy Minister of Health when the restriction can be lifted or what is the government's response to the business, for which even a 2-hour shift is crucial.

"We are at the peak now and it is probably not epidemiologically justified for us to think about easing any restrictions, including the postponement of the curfew. We understand the difficulties and there is a discussion about this decision, "Tamar Gabunia said.
