As of April 29, 29,024 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 11,185 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,839 were PCR tests, - Stopcov.ge reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 904 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 146 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 99 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 308,834, among them, 289,976 people recovered and 4,095 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,94%, while 4,54% in the past 14 days.
As of today, in total 43,568 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
There are 217 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3,765 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 718 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
