As of January-September 2022, the demand for residential apartments in Batumi increased by 37% compared to the same period last year. According to the Colliers residential real estate market review, which summarizes the data for the 9 months of 2022.
"Demand for newly built medium-segment apartments in Batumi increased by 50%. A significant, 37% increase was also recorded for apartments in the economy segment. As for the premium segment, compared to the data of the first 9 months of 2021, the demand increased by only 15%. In September 2022, the demand for newly built premium segment apartments in Batumi almost doubled and the number of registered transactions amounted to 311 units. A significant increase of 55% was recorded in the medium segment as well. As for the economy segment, the figure increased by 36% to 775 units," Colliers' review noted.
In addition, the size of the residential real estate market in Batumi exceeded 500 million USD, which is a 34% increase compared to the data of 2021.
