In the first half of the year, Azerbaijan produced oil worth 1,977,000,000 manats ($1,162,941,168), a growth of 5.5% from January-June last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, the country produced 79,100 tons of gasoline, 1,230,800 tons of diesel fuel, 24,600 tons of lubricants, 150,100 tons of petroleum bitumen.
During the first six months of this year, gasoline production in Azerbaijan decreased by 5.3%, while petroleum bitumen production increased by 10.4%, diesel fuel production rose by 10%, and lubricant oil production gained 79.6%.
In the first half of this year, the country produced 211,800 tons of gasoline for use in the petrochemical industry, 241,400 tons of kerosene, 24,400 tons of fuel oil, and 131,800 tons of petroleum coke.
The production of gasoline for use in the petrochemical industry increased by 53%, petroleum coke by 18.3%, kerosene by 4%, and fuel oil by 37.8.
