Levan Surguladze, Director of Pension Agency resigns. He said this at a special briefing.
“I applied to the Supervisory Board a week ago if it would be possible for me to resign from January 16. That was about a week ago. The Supervisory Board will consider this statement and make a decision, ”Surguladze said.
He has said that if the Board decides that he should remain in office for some time, he will take into account the opinion of the Board.
Earlier, he also summarized the results of his one-year work of the pension agency and repeatedly stressed that the agency was already "working properly".
He did not explain details of his resign, saying that he had “other plans”, which would be announced later.
Levan Surguladze was appointed as the director of the Pension Agency last September.
