Georgia exported 376 tonnes of blueberries from May 1 to June 29, which is 4% higher compared to the same period of 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection reports.
The earnings from exports amounted to $2.5 million, which is a 14% increase compared to last year.
The export price of Georgian blueberries has increased by 10% and is $6.5 per kilogram.
Georgian blueberries were mainly exported to Russia ( 363 tonnes), United Arab Emirates (8.3 tonnes), Armenia ( 2 tonnes), Qatar (1.5 tonnes), Moldova (0.9 tonnes).
