"Georgia has a small but open economy. Georgia maintains high economic growth despite the challenges in worldwide. Inflation in Georgia is 11.5%, while in Eastern Europe the rate stands at 21%. In the Eurozone, it is more than 9%. As for our partner countries, Turkey has 77% inflation. I am not saying anything about Russia and Ukraine for certain reasons. In this context, Georgia maintains a high economic growth as a result of the correct economic policy, which is 10.3% according to the data of 7 months", - Irakli Zarkua, member of the ruling party Georgian Dream said at the plenary session of the Parliament.

According to him, it is clear that economic growth cannot be reflected in the incomes of our population immediately. However, based on the increased economic rate, the assistance for helpless children has grown from GEL 50 to GEL 150. Moreover, GEL 100 million has been transferred to the Regional Development Fund.

Also, the state has set a lower limit and promised help to the winegrowers. As for the medicines, the prices have decreased by 60-80%, as well as in relation to petroleum products.

"It is your duty to inform the population what Prime Minister Garibashvili and the government have announced and you should not mislead them," Irakli Zarkua addressed the opposition.
