According to the electricity market operator, electricity consumption in Georgia decreased by 7.6% in March amounting 1 billion 50 million kilowatt-hours.
As for the indicators of individual distribution companies, in Tbilisi, the consumption of Telasi subscribers decreased by 12.2%, while consumption of subscribers of the Energo-Pro Georgia - by 24%.
The situation has also changed in occupied Abkhazia, with mostly growing consumption data, the rate is 3.8% down by now.
On this background, electricity imports increased by 4.3% to 217.9 million kWh in March, comparing to the same period of the last year. Imports were made from Russia and Azerbaijan.
