“EU Commission Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis will visit Georgia. He will arrive in summer within the frame of the Economic Ministerial meeting”, - the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava told journalists about that after the meeting of the Georgia-EU Association Council in Brussels.

According to the Minister, both political and economic cooperation between Georgia and the European Union was discussed at the meeting with the Executive Vice President of the European Commission.

"It is important that he agreed to visit us this summer when the economic ministerial of the member states of the Association is planned. The fact that the Vice President is going to visit us will be a strong message that the European Union supports Georgia as its partner," Natia Turnava said.
