Paata Imnadze, deputy head of the National Center for Disease Control notes, that several coronavirus vaccines will be available in the world late this year.
"There will probably be several vaccines late this year. Moreover, we know that another vaccine is already used in China and also, there are two. We do not know when vaccine will become available for us, because it will be distributed in the producing countries first, but hopefully it will be provided for other countries, including us by spring,” said Paata Imnadze.
However, Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, said that 10 vaccines are already available in the third phase of the clinical trial.
"The general tendency is that the world is actively working on the development of vaccines, a large number have been created, they are going through the first, second, third phase of clinical trial. However, 10 vaccines are in the third phase of clinical trial by now," said Gamkrelidze.
