Goods USD 449 million worth were exported from Georgia to foreign countries during the last month, which was 9% more than the previous year,- according to the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Overall, Georgia's exports were USD 4.54 billion in the 10 months of 2022, which was 34% more compared to the same period of the previous year.
As for imports, in October, Georgia purchased 1.1 billion worth of goods from abroad, which was 20% more compared to the previous year. In the 10th month of the year, the imports volume amounted to 10.7 billion, which was an annual increase of 33%.
Geostat will publish detailed data on the external merchandise trade of Georgia on 21 November 2022.
