External Merchandise Trade of Georgia amounted to USD 5 252.9 million in January-April 2022, 33.4% higher year-on-year,- show the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office Of Georgia.
The value of export increased by 32.8% reaching USD 1 587.5 million, while the import increased by 33.7% and amounted to USD 3 665.4 million.
According to the report, the trade deficit equaled USD 2 077.9 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 39.6%.
