External Trade down by 14.9% YoY External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 8 121.0 million in January-September 2020, 14.9 percent lower year-on-year - National Statistics Office -Geostat reports.
According to the newest statistics, which was released today, the value of export deacreased by 12.1 percent reaching USD 2 403.5 million, while the import deacreased by 15.9 percent and amounted to USD 5 717.6 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 3 314.1 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 40.8 percent.
